We are the only greenhouse business in the industry that we know of to openly disclose its spray application records and growing methods. Plant Size
|
|
|
We specialize in large perennial packs. This is the best way for you to plant your favorite perennials en masse, to fill in small openings in your garden or to fill large areas of your garden for less money. The majority of our varieties are grown in jumbo 4-packs with the exception of a few shorter varieties. These jumbo packs are 33% larger than the 4-packs that other greenhouses use. Each plant cell is 2.33" by 2.345" and 3.25" deep. This deeper pack allows for a stronger root system which will establish itself faster in your garden. Don't underestimate the size of these plants! They will explode with growth in your garden. In our garden last year, our salvias grew 3 feet tall when planted from a 4-pack.

Minimum Order

In order to keep our prices low we have a small minimum order of just four 4-packs (half of a tray). We encourage you to purchase a full tray of eight 4-packs or even more! When the shipping costs and full tray pricing are factored in, your per plant price is significantly less.

Pricing
|
|
|
All perennial and ornamental grass 4-packs are $7.00 per pack. All 4-packs of herbs are $6.75. All 4-packs of our hardy ferns are $10.00 per pack. For every full tray of eight 4-packs that you order, $7.00 will be automatically deducted from your order. That's like getting a 4-pack of perennials for free! For example: a an order consisting of a full tray of eight 4-packs (32 perennials!) will only cost you $49!

Shipping
|
|
|
Every full tray of plants ships in its own box in order to prevent the plants from shipping damage. We pack our plants with great care so that they arrive in the best condition possible. We begin shipping in mid-April depending on the progress of our plants and the our weather and yours. Some varieties will naturally be ready to go sooner than others. We won't ship any plant that doesn't meet our strict standard of quality. Which shipping company we use for your order depends on what area of the country you live in. We make every effort to balance shipping costs with shipping speed. Orders usually arrive on the third day after leaving our greenhouse. To determine shipping costs for your order, fill up your shopping cart and head for the checkout. The shipping cost will display when you review your order but before it is placed.

Substitutions

We don't like getting stuff that we didn't order and you probably don't either. If for whatever reason a plant that you want is not available, we will let you know and suggest possible alternatives.

Guarantee
|
|
|
With over a decade of greenhouse growing experience, we guarantee that you are getting the healthiest, happiest plants possible. Nothing ships from our greenhouse unless it meets our strict standards. If the plants are harmed during shipping, we will refund your money if notified within 48 hours of receipt. We don't baby our plants with warm temperatures and synthetic nitrogen, resulting in weak, soft growth. They are grown 'hard' in cool temperatures and organic slow release fertilizer and pushed to withstand dry conditions. However, as with all plants, ours require proper soil preparation and watering when planted and appropriate attention afterwards. We are more than happy to answer questions about proper planting and care for our plants.
